According to the USDA's 2017 Census of Agriculture, black farmers accounted for less than 2% of the country's total farmers. This represents a stark contrast to the past when African Americans played a more significant role in agriculture.

The Future Black Farmers Scholarship is a prestigious scholarship program specifically designed to empower and support black students who are passionate about advancing their education in the field of agricultural science. This scholarship aims to foster diversity, inclusivity, and excellence within the agricultural sector by providing financial assistance to talented black students pursuing studies in this vital field.

Award: $1,000

Submission Window: November 1st-March 15th

The Tshikovi Arts Initiative is dedicated to supporting underserved urban schools by providing much-needed financial assistance to their arts programs. Recognizing the transformative power of arts education, this initiative aims to bridge the funding gap and create opportunities for students in these schools to explore their creativity, express themselves, and develop critical skills through various artistic disciplines.

Every August, one school in New Jersey is awarded $1000 through this initiative.

Through the power of tea and community, Tea for Tots seeks to brighten lives and provide a memorable experience for those in need.

Twice a year tshikovi tea house provides an immersive tea experience which includes dress up and gifts for mothers and children.
